The popular Match Liner tennis clay court line sweeper is now available in two different versions.

Natural surfaces, such as natural grass and clay, make for a better tennis match, however, the high cost of maintaining these surfaces has historically meant that the UK has had very few such courts. This is unfortunate, since Astroturf and other traditional hard courts have been shown to increase impact to joints, resulting in an increased risk of injury.

Fortunately, modern synthetic clay surfaces are becoming more popular here in the UK, offering the best of both worlds: improved player comfort and low maintenance courts. In response to this increase in popularity, we have developed a new version of our popular clay court line sweeper Match Liner.

We found that our original, best-selling Match Liner line sweeper was perfect for natural clay courts, but the sand infill of some synthetic surfaces caused the brush bristles to wear out faster. Our new version has stronger, thicker bristles, perfect for the demands of synthetic clay. You can tell the difference by the colour of the bristles. The new sweeper for synthetic surfaces is black, the traditional sweeper for real clay is white.

We also noticed that the court line width common in the UK is wider than the court lines in Europe. The new Match Liner therefore has a 5cm wide brush compared to the 4cm wide original version.

As with our original Match Liner, this new synthetic clay court line sweeper is made of the highest quality materials, and currently retails for £125.
